Introduction of weekly food market
We used to have a food market in Rochdale Center once a week - it seemed to stop a few years back but it would really bring back a community feel to the area.
Why the contribution is important
Promote purchasing of local produce which not only helps local business, but reduces carbon emissions from not transporting as many goods. I think it would really benefit the community and provide an enjoyable activity for families.
